Professional Portrait

Kathryn Morrison

M.S. Biotechnology, concentration in Bioinformatics

Hello! I am a bioinformatics professional with over three years of experience in CRISPR/Cas9 cloning and genetic engineering. I focus on integrating my wet-lab experience into data analysis and computational workflows. Always happy to connect over bioinformatics, genomic research, or the latest in biotech. In the background of this website is a basic 3D render of the RYR1 protein, on which I performed structural and functional analysis during my Master's at Johns Hopkins University. Check out my Poke a Protein project to see a more complex 3D rendering of the RYR1 protein that is interactive and explorable in both VR and desktop environments.
